A Martin Dairy Road man reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department that his cow was stolen. Ron Carter said the cow was last seen about a week earlier in the pasture. He said he was checking the fence for damage and finding it secure. After a check with 911, the deputy found that there had not been any reports of wandering cows in the area. The cow has an orange ear tag and is valued at $1200. A copy of the report was sent to the Sheriff's Department Investigations Department.
