A report was released this week with info about the home and property of Jozell Payne, a 76 year-old Rome man who was found dead in his Callier Springs Road home. Police said that Payne`s 2004 Chevy Avalanche was missing, as was a gun and two televisions.

Officers found Payne dead after they were called on a welfare check. When no one answered they forced their way into the home.

The death was ruled `suspicious` by detectives and the body was sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy. The results have not came back yet.

Authorities did not say if the missing items were related to the death.
