Two Chattooga County residents booked into the Floyd County Jail on Monday, according to jail records.

Joel Landon Jones, of Walnut Street, Trion, was arrested by the Rome Police Department on Monday. 17-year-old Jones was charged with theft by Shoplifting. 

Daniel Paul Ragan, of Rowlls Road, Lyerly, was arrested in Chattooga County  on Monday on a warrant for Floyd County authorities. 28-year-old Ragan was charged with  theft by taking.
