The murder trial of Bob Packer got underway this week in Chattooga County. Sixty-six year old Packer is accused of the October 2010 murder of James "Pee Wee" Kirby. 48-year-old Kirby was shot in the chest with a .12 gauge shotgun. Packer faces charges of malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault. The trial is expected to last until Thursday.
