A Calhoun man who allegedly had more than 28 grams of methamphetamine while on Ga. 53 was in the Floyd County Jail on Thursday, according to jail reports.

According to the reports:

Nadir Ajij Hermani, 20, of 1633 S. Wall St., Calhoun, had the controlled substance near the intersection of Ga. 53 and Ga. 140 on Oct. 10.

He was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Hermani was charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine.

He remained in jail Thursday night without bond and with a hold for ICE.
