A woman shot to death in her car in Savannah Monday is a graduate of Chattooga High School.

 

Rebecca Lorraine Foley was gunned down outside her apartment on the city's south side around 7 p.m. The 21-year-old Savannah State University Student was inside her Volkswagen Beetle when she was killed.

 

Police spokesman Julian Miller told the Savannah Morning News that officers found her on the ground outside the vehicle but were uncertain how she got there. Other reports indicate that her boyfriend pulled her from the car and tried to get help. 

 

Detectives were working to identify anyone who might have been in the area and are also seeking leads from the public.

 

Foley had moved to Savannah from  Summerville to attend college. She is a graduate of Chattooga High School and was a Chattooga High Cheerleader.
