Chattooga County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a fugitive from justice on January 24. According to the report, officers came upon a male and female in a parking lot, in a blue Kia Rio.

 

The woman matched a description of a subject wanted on theft charges out of Tennessee. When asked about the allegations both the man and woman denied them. Upon a search of the vehicle, officers reportedly found what is referred to as "synthetic potpourri" in the vehicle with loose rolling papers.

 

Information from the vehicle tag was run through GCIC and came back with two warrants on Samantha Wallace, of Nugget Ridge, Summerville, as well as the fugitive from justice warrant. The fugitive from justice warrant reportedly stems from a theft with a $3000 value.
