A Sloppy Floyd Lake Road resident has gone to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department in regard to dog issues with a neighbor. According to the report, the neighbor owns two Great Danes that are alleged to be constantly running loose during the day. The man says about two weeks ago, his two year old child was bitten on the arm by one of the dogs, but didn't receive any injury. He said he called Chattooga County Animal Control three times concerning the issue and nothing was done.

Another neighbor told officers that her Pit Bulldog and Chihuahua were both bitten by the neighbor's Great Danes and received minor injuries.  She told officers Animal Control did respond to that complaint and took custody of the Great Danes, but returned them later that day.

Deputies reportedly met with the owner of the Great Danes and made sure she was aware of the issues. She said she would try to keep the dogs under control. Officers advised E-911 to have Animal Control to follow-up on the situation, according to the report. .
