A free USDA webinar is set for 2 p.m. Feburary to address information and tips on raising healthy backyard poultry.

 

The webinar will address how to get your birds and equipment ready for spring, what to look for when buying chicks to start or build your flock. Participants can also learn about the best and most popular bird breeds, how to keep your flock safe from predators and disease, and the signs of  infectious diseases, as well as where to find resources. 

The webinar can be useful whether you are just getting started or are an experienced hand

at raising birds.
