A Colt Lane, Summerville man reported that a rifle and other items were stolen from his home on Tuesday. According to the Sheriff's Department report, Bobby Wayne Slayton said when he arrived home from work he found that someone had "busted open" his back door. Taken was a 22 caliber rifle, $40 in change, medication and food. The case has been turned over to investigators.
