A theft from a local trailer was reported last Thursday, February 21.

 

According to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department report, deputies were dispatched to a Dot Johnson Drive address where they spoke to James Baird, of Farmersville Road. Baird said several items were missing from an enclosed trailer in the parking lot of the Chattooga Baptist Association.

 

The enclosed trailer reportedly was secured at about 9 a.m. on February 11. The items were noticed missing just before 3 p.m. on February 21. Reported taken was three Stihl saws, a large generator, two air compressors, and a framing air nailer. The estimated value of the missing items is $3800, according to the report. Entry reportedly was gained by the  hasp on the rear door being  broken.  The incident has been turned over to investigators.
