A couple of strange incidents reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department over the weekend.
 
In one instance, a Summerville man reported that the door handles were removed from his wife's  car. In another, a woman reported that some unknown person kicked in her apartment door for no reason.
 
According to the reports by the Chattooga County Sheriff's Office, officers were dispatched to a South Third Street home on Monday. The resident there reported that his wife had come home and he noticed that both the driver and passenger side door handles had been removed from her 2001 Ford Explorer. No other damage to the vehicle was reported.  
 
The door incident also occurred on Sunday. A Back Penn Road woman reported that while taking her husband to work on Sunday, between 7 and 7:45 p.m. someone had kicked open and damaged the front door to their apartment. There was nothing missing from the apartment and no other damage, according to the report..
