Another shoplifting incident at Walmart this past Saturday.

According to the Sheriff's Department report, the store's Asset Protection Associate saw a white male leaving the store with a shopping cart full of unpaid-for merchandise. Employee Johnnie Smith said he got the tag number of the vehicle the man was driving. A short time later, Smith reportedly saw a white woman walking across the parking lot with another shopping cart full of unpaid-for merchandise and loaded it into the same vehicle as the male suspect.

Once Smith began looking at store surveillance video he observed three people, one man and two women, shoplifting and leaving the store with a total of three shopping carts full of items. A report and two videos were handed over to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department. In all it is believed the three suspects shoplifted almost $1000 worth of merchandise. The incident has been turned over to Sheriff's Department investigators.
