A Dry Creek Road, Summerville, man was arrested Monday on charges of battery under the Family Violence Act.

 

According to the report, 22-year-old Morgan Hamilton, of Dry Creek Road, Summerville, told officers that she was involved in a domestic dispute with 24-year-old Glenn Nix Jr. that became physical. Nix was not at the residence when sheriff's deputies arrived.

 

Hamilton said the incident began in the hallway of the home and Nix had shoved her against the wall and began to his her, causing her to fall to the ground.  

 

Nix is alleged to have hit Hamilton repeatedly on the head while she was on the ground. NIx' step-father reportedly picked him up off the women. Hamilton said she did hit Nix with a phone and then called 911.

 

According to the report, Hamilton's head was bleading and there was dried blood running down her face. There also was blood on the floor.  

 

Nix returned to the home, according to the report, at which time he was arrested and charged.  Nix was on probation, according to the report.
