Jim Henry, of Chattooga County, achieved the Lifetime Master Gardener status volunteering his horticulture knowledge through the University of Georgia’s Cooperative Extension Services. To be recognized as a Lifetime Master Gardener, Mr. Henry remained an active volunteer by donating 25 or more hours per year delivering research based knowledge to the community for the past 10 years. Mr. Henry donates far more hours than that each year and the Chattooga County Extension was proud to present Mr. Henry with his Lifetime Master Gardener Badge and Certificate of Appreciation. If you or someone you know is interested in the Master Gardener Volunteer Program, please contact the Chattooga County Cooperative Extension at 706-857-0744.
