In Municipal Court this morning Summerville Municipal Court Judge Sam Finster granted a month longer for those interested in saving the Taylor House in Summerville to get with a preservation group about the structure.

A group of residents along with members of the Taylor Family  wants to see the old house located on North Congress Street saved, but the building needs a lot of work and the City of Summerville wants it up to code or done away with.  Judge Finster has been allowing time for the group to work on getting a preservation group in to look at the house to see if it could be restored. 

Over the past weekend volunteers worked on the structure to get it ready to be seen by the preservation group.
