A man living on Mountain View Road noticed on June 1st that his two central heating and air units on his property had been damaged. After speaking with Chattooga County officers, he named a suspect that had admitted to damaging other units in the same manner. The suspect removed copper from the inside of all units he damaged. 

The suspect was supposed to pay for the damages done to units beforehand, but continued to take copper from inside others. The victim of the theft will take legal action soon.
