The friends and family of AJ Starr will be holding an Appreciation Dinner/Hometown Kickoff on Saturday, June 28th for AJ Starr, former Chattooga County Football Coach John Starr’s nephew. You may remember AJ from the ESPN story about the AJ friendship between AJ McCarron and AJ Starr. McCarron befriended Starr and eventually helped him become the Assistant Equipment Manager for the University of Alabama football team.

Now, AJ Starr has created The Real AJ Foundation to help raise awareness for cerebral palsy.

You can help AJ and The Real AJ Foundation by attending the Appreciation Dinner at First Baptist Church the Roc located at 300 E Bypass, Centre, AL 35960. The dinner will begin at 6:00 pm and Former University of Alabama Football Star Rudy Griffin will be attending as the Guest Speaker.

Tickets will be $25 for individuals or $175 for an 8-person table. Seats are limited, so get your tickets right away!
