A Chattooga County deputy pulled over a black Chevrolet Camaro on Highway 114 early this week. The Camaro was crossing double yellow lines along the road, and when the deputy pulled the driver over, he appeared disoriented and slightly confused. The driver, later identified as Cody Ray Teague, had bloodshot eyes that he had difficulty keeping open.

Mr. Teague told officers that he had a flat tire and was attempting to take it to a repair shop.  The deputy proceeded to conduct field sobriety tests on Mr. Teague, most of which he failed.

Mr. Teague was placed into custody and taken to Redmond for blood and urine tests, then to the Chattooga County Detention Center.
