A woman called Chattooga County officers after discovering that her home had been broken into.
The woman had just returned home on Wednesday, September 3rd after being incarcerated for several weeks. She noticed that her front door had been damaged and several items inside her home were missing.
Officers discovered footprints outside of the home and that the back door had been damaged.
The homeowner's main concern of her missing belongings included a memory card from her camera that held pictures of her father that could not be replaced.
The incident is still under investigation.
