On the 28th of October, a Trion Walmart employee called Chattooga County officers to report a shoplifting.
The shoplifting incident occurred on October 13th, but the employee received a phone call about the incident on the 28th. One man allegedly went to the automotive department of the store and placed four car batteries into a buggy and left the store without paying.
The male that took the batteries was not identified solely from the video. The value of the stolen batteries amounted to nearly $450.
The incident is still under investigation.
