The Floyd County Sheriff's Office has released the mugshot of accused murdererer Niazua Brown.

Brown, 16, is accused of shooting Cornelius Driver Jr., 23.

He is being tried as a adult.

According to warrants, Brown is accused of shooting Driver on Grover Street near Wilson Avenue around 2:45 on Tuesday.

In addition to the felony murder charge, Brown is charged with possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime.

Police are continuing to investigate and have not released a motive for the shooting.
