The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force made a drug arrest this week after a regular probation visit turned up a firearm.

Convicted felon Samuel Adam Kimbrough, age 25 of Highway 136 in LaFayette, got a visit from his probation officer, who then called in the drug task force.  Agents with the drug task force found a loaded high-power rifle and methamphetamine.

Kimbrough has now been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of methamphetamine.

The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force serves Catoosa, Dade, Walker and Chattooga Counties.
