There is a twenty percent chance for some snow showers for today for Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia as a brief system of moister pushes ahead of bitterly cold air moving into our area. Early morning radar indicated that the bulk of the moisture from this fast moving system will stay to the north of Chattanooga, but we cannot rule out seeing a snow flake or two today.
Tonight, we will see lows dipping down into the single digits with dangerous wind chills. The National Weather Service has issued a wind-chill advisory for Northwest Georgia including Chattooga County.
