The Chattooga County 4-H has once again had a busy weekend with the movie night and the Shotgun Team winning 7^th place in the 4-H State Competition.

They held a community movie in the park at Dowdy Park last night showing “Hero 6”.  If you missed this showing you will have other opportunities in the upcoming months at different locations throughout the County.  You also have the option to vote on the upcoming movies that will be shown.  Just go by the Extension Office, or check them out on Face Book at Chattooga County 4-H.  This project was made possible by the 4-H receiving a Tillotson Charitable Grant for the Movie system, for their “Engaging Youth in Community Service” plan of work project.

They would like to thank everyone that came out and supported their “Friday Night Movie” and all the volunteers and sponsors that make the best better for Chattooga County and our Youth.

The Chattooga County 4-H S.A.F.E. Shotgun Team traveled to Rock Eagle 4-H Center Saturday to compete in the State shotgun competition.  At this competition they compete against all of the counties in the State for a top placement.  They had a very rough start this winter and spring with practices being rained out for an extended period.  But they endured and worked extra hard when they were able to practice and brought back to the county a 7^th place win at this State Competition.
