A man remains in jail for allegedly physically assaulting a woman on October 17.
According to arrest warrants at the Floyd County Jail, 28-year-old Justin Lee Huston of Leafmore Road apartment in Rome tied the victim’s hands behind her back and threatened her with a knife.
The reports state Huston kicked the victim in the shoulder and abdomen while she was on
the ground. He also allegedly struck the victim with a USB cable several times which caused lacerations on her shoulder.
Huston is charged with aggravated assault, battery and a parole violation. He remains in the Floyd County Jail without bond.
