A Rome man is charged with terroristic threats and acts for allegedly threatening to hit a man with a metal pipe.

According to arrest warrants at the Floyd County Jail, 54-year-old Richard Kip Rowles, Sr. of a Brandon Lane residence threatening to hit the victim in the head with the pipe while in front of witnesses.

Rowles is also charged with battery after he allegedly struck another victim in the head and face causing injuries that needed medical treatment.

Both of these incidents happened on October 16.

Rowles is being held in the Floyd County Jail.
