It wasn’t exactly the heist of the year, but irritating nonetheless.

According to an incident report at the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office a woman told law enforcement that while she was out of town, someone had gone through her mail and taken a book from the mailbox.

She advised that the book was about hiking trails in the state of Georgia; the package which contained the book was found on her porch, opened, but with the book itself missing.

The theft apparently occurred sometime over a three day period while she was gone.
