Two Lafayette residents were jailed on drug charges following an incident near the Walker County Jail.

The Drug Task Force and Probation Officers went to an apartment on Napier Street directly behind the jail, where they arrested a brother and sister – 41 year old Wilmer Doyle Sweet and 35 year old Barbara Louanne Sweet.

Both were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana.
