Investigators are reportedly looking for a third person of interest in the shooting death of a Dekalb County man.

Kenneth Dewayne Shaw was found lying in his front yard Saturday night, suffering fatal gunshot wounds.

Three people were seen fleeing the area following the shooting and investigators have spoken with two of them, although the third remains elusive.

One of those two is currently in the Jackson County Jail on a unrelated matter; there has been some suspicion that the shooting was over a debt that Shaw owed to one of the three people on the scene that night.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says a tire on Shaw’s vehicle was shot several days ago, and that may be connected with the slaying.

The investigation into the matter is on-going.
