Rome City police arrested a Rome man Monday on a warrant that stems from an Oct. 7 incident.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:  Officers on East 20th Street spotted 36 year old Randy Scottie Hutchens, and when they attempted to take him into custody on a felony terroristic threats warrant, Hutchins broke and ran but was ultimately caught by officers; the warrant accused Hutchens of threatening to blow the head off a woman at a location on Tom Bing Road.

The brief foot chase Monday resulted in two felony obstruction counts, one count of giving police a false name and two counts of battery.

Hutchens is being held in the Floyd County jail without bond.
