All members of the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department recently completed the volunteer fire fighter certification training. Cloudland VFD holds the distinction of serving residents in both Chattooga County, Georgia and Cherokee County, Alabama.  Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department members can reside in either county, and the department is recognized by both Alabama and Georgia. 

The Volunteer Fire Fighter Certification is taught through both classroom lectures and hand-on training. Successful completion of all written exams, practical exercises, and a passing score on the state exam is required for certification.

The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department members receiving their certification were: Bobby Cavin, Pam Cavin, Janice Tucker, Max Tucker, William Murray, Travis Milhan and Andrew Flood.
