A Chattooga County Deputy was recently dispatched to TJ’s Package Store on the Lyerly Highway in response to a report of theft.

The store owner informed the deputy that three bottles of vodka – valued at $150.00 – were missing; he stated that he had reviewed video surveillance and noticed a woman that had been standing in the vodka aisle – he then witnessed her take the three bottles off the shelf and leave the store without paying.  The only description provided was that she had blonde hair.

The woman is reportedly believed to live nearby the store.

The investigation into the matter is on-going.
