Charges continue to add up for the 19-year-old Rome man who allegedly shot a 14-year-old girl in the head on November 8th.

According to Floyd County Jail reports – additional charges of aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy were filed earlier in the week against Deshawn Ronnell Gordon; he was previously charged with aggravated assault, false imprisonment, unlawful possession of a firearm, aggravated battery, giving a false name and date of birth to a law enforcement officer, child molestation, obstructing a person from making an emergency 9-1-1 call, and robbery, tampering with evidence, statutory rape, and first degree cruelty to children.

Police say the victim has been transferred to the Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta where she continues her recovery.

The victim and Gordon have a child together.
