According to Cherokee County, Alabama Sheriff Jeff Shaver – deputies and investigators had executed a search warrant in the Mud Creek community Wednesday, which resulted in the arrest of 44 year Mark Anthony Babb of Silver Creek, Georgia.

Investigators received information that Babb was in possession of methamphetamine while at a home on County Road 803. 

Following a short investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed. 

Investigators seized approximately one-half ounce of methamphetamine. 

Babb is charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute.
