One of the three touring teams of Budweiser Clydesdales will be in Rome this Wednesday.

The team will be making special Christmas deliveries to those restaurants in the downtown district that market Anheuser-Busch products.

The team of eight horses will be stationed at the parking lot across from the tennis courts on West Third Street and the horses will pull the wagon across the Fifth Avenue bridge to Broad Street, turn right and go down Broad all the way to the end of the Cotton Block then come back up the other side of Broad Street and back to the horse carrier.

Raymond Sablon – special events director for Eagle Rock, the area Budweiser distributor, said people will be allowed to take pictures with the horses as they are stopped at the various restaurants.

The entire delivery process is expected to run from 4:00 – 6:00pm.
