The Town of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, is asking for assistance from the public in helping locate those responsible for stealing Christmas lights and extension cords from the town Park.

Someone took several stargazer displays along with a number of very expensive extension cords from the town’s Christmas display.

An eyewitness in the park Saturday night said that they saw a tall white male with a slender build and dark hair, approximately 30 – 40 years of age, attempting to take the items before he noticed he was being watched; Cedar Bluff Police are currently looking for a Black Chevy Tahoe with black wheels in connection with the incident.

Mayor Crane said when they find out who is responsible for that theft, they'll be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law
