The name of the teenager who died, while visiting relatives in Lafayette, on Monday of this week has now been released.  13 year old Jenna Kendrick, a resident of Chickamauga, was a student at Saddle Ridge School at Rock Spring.

She was found dead in a bedroom of her grandmother's home early Monday morning; she'd been sleeping there while her father worked a third-shift job.

Lafayette Police and the GBI are still investing the matter, referring to the cause of death as being "undetermined."  They did add that there was no evidence of foul play.

An autopsy has been ordered.

A "Go Fund Me" account has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.
