Rep. Tom Graves Votes to Modernize Energy Infrastructure, Create Jobs

Representative Tom Graves (R-GA-14) issued the following statement after voting in favor of the North American Energy Security and Infrastructure Act (H.R. 8), which would modernize energy infrastructure and update obsolete energy policies (quote) “America needs a 21st Century energy plan. By creating modern electric grids and pipelines and also repealing outdated regulations, this bill will help create good-paying jobs, drive down utility bills and cut the cost of filling the gas tank.” (end-quote).

H.R. 8 passed the House by a bipartisan vote of 249 to 174.
