A man told police his attempt at being a Good Samaritan went awry 

Saturday after he was robbed.

The victim said a bald, black male, approximately 6 feet tall, snatched 

$100 from him after the robber said he had car trouble behind Harbin Clinic,

Saturday afternoon, police stated.

The suspect ran toward Shorter Avenue, according to Rome police officer 

Kevin Morang.
