Floyd County Deputies arrested two people at the Ashwood Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard on felony counterfeiting charges.
Reports said that Isaiah Alphonzo Driver, 48 of Rome and Brittney Leigh Harrison age 32 of Lindale, cashed counterfeit payroll checks back on October 26th at the Bottle & Basket state liquor store on Redmond Circle.
Reports added that Driver’s check was for $470 while Harrison’s was for $462.
Both are charged with negotiating counterfeit checks; Driver was additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice.
