Roderick Louis Hight, 54 of Rome, was indicted last week on vehicular homicide charges.

Reports said that Hight was driving under the influence when his vehicle collided with a motorcycle being driven by 29 year-old Cory Alexander Coots last March 16th

Coots’ wife Jessica Marie Coots, age 30, was also riding the motorcycle when Hight struck it near Church’s Chicken on Shorter Avenue.

Cory Coots died a month later.
