A Trion resident recently reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, that a 20 gallon air compressor, valued at around $200, had been taken from his property on Renee Road – without his permission.

He stated that the air compressor had been stored in the rear of a parked 1999 GMC Jimmy; he added that the back glass had been broken out by a neighbor, approximately two weeks earlier – however the air compressor had not been taken at that time.

That incident remains under investigation.
