The investigation into the death of a 27 year old Hispanic male in Floyd County is on-going.

Police are calling the death "suspicious", and are saying little more.

The man's body was found behind a duplex at 9B Wood Creek Way in West Rome – and that death is being investigated as a homicide. The man's identity has yet to be released.

The body was discovered shortly before 7:00am Tuesday, with early reports indicating that the victim may have died from a gunshot wound; it appears that no weapons were found in the immediate area.
