The Golden Corral Restaurant in Ft Oglethorpe, went up in flames during the early morning hours of Wednesday.

Firefighters from a number of departments, responded to the scene on Battlefield Parkway, shortly after midnight.

One area firefighter was reportedly taken for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined and an investigation conducted by the State Fire Marshal's Office is now underway.
