Police arrested 53 year-old Roy Collins Robinson, of Rome, Wednesday following an attempt to rob Kroger on Turner McCall Boulevard. Reports said that Robinson walked into the store intoxicated, pointed a stick at two employees and demanded that they empty out their cash registers.

Robinson was arrested and charged with armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault and public intoxication.
