A 46-year old Silver Creek man was jailed Thursday on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Michael Ladon Dodson, of a Woodberry Drive address, was stopped by police at East 12th Street and East 2nd Avenue in Rome.

That’s when Dodson was found in possession of the synthetic marijuana.

He was additionally charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
