A teenager accused of shooting a man to death in January of last year pleaded guilty in Floyd County Superior Court on Friday afternoon.

Niazua Brown was just 16 years-old when he shot 23-year-old Cornelious Driver on Grover Street near Wilson Avenue on January 27 of last year. 

Now 17, he pleaded guilty to all of the charges in his indictment–felony murder, malice murder aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a cirem and two counts of aggravated assault. 

He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 23 at 9 a.m. by Judge Bryant Durham.
