Rome police said a man was making what appeared to be gang signs when they drove past him on East Second Avenue on Monday morning.

And when police stopped to talk to him, he told them he was doing choreography to rap music, according to a Rome police report. 

Police spotted 19-year-old Old Zachary Leon Hall of a Cave Spring Road residence walking down the street around 9:15 a.m. Monday.

He only appeared to do the gang signs when officer rode by him.

Police found a methamphetamine pipe in his right front pocket.

Hall told police he had some in his left pants pocket as well.

He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and is being held on a $5,700 bond.
