A Rome man was in jail Tuesday after Floyd County police charged him with possession of methamphetamine, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Shane Edward Maynor Jr., 37, of 1501 Old Dalton Road, was arrested on charges of felony meth possession at the intersection of Old Dalton Road and Lewis Road.

He was being held on a $5,700 bond Tuesday.
